As I am just returning to the sport, I am still looking for my absolute favorite, but I have a weak spot for local races with a great community atmosphere.
What do you like most about the sport?
The variety of the three disciplines and the challenge of pushing my own limits. It never gets boring, and the triathlon community is incredibly supportive.
Which result are you particularly proud of?
Coming back to triathlon as an adult! After being active as a child, finding my way back to the start line is my biggest personal win so far.
What do you do besides sport (job, family, …)?
I live with my partner and work as the Sales Manager and Assistant to the CEO for a music wholesaler in Zell am See
How do you manage to balance family, work and sport?
Organization and shared passion! My partner and I do a lot of our training together, which means we spend quality time while supporting each other’s goals. Between my job and business trips, having a partner who shares this lifestyle makes it much easier to stay consistent.
