How did you come to triathlon and what sporting past do you have?

My family has always had a very sporty environment. That's why sport was actually put into my cradle as a leisure activity. In addition to my studies, it was obvious to make good use of my free time, which was not too scarce. So triathlon almost made sense for me. The annual visit to the Ironman in Klagenfurt sparked my interest in measuring myself against others in competitions.

What do you particularly like about the sport?

What I particularly appreciate about sport is that you can benefit from good fitness in all situations. I also really like to ride my racing bike.

Which result are you particularly proud of?

Long distance Alpe d'Huez 2018, MD Podersdorf 2017.

What do you do besides sport (job, family, ..)?

I recently completed my studies (law and economics) and have been working in a global tax consulting firm ever since. I'm also active as a cashier and head of operations at the Ebensee Mountain Rescue Service. If there is still time, I like to be out and about in the mountains, where the descent is often significantly enhanced by a paragliding flight.

Describe yourself in 4 words?

Persistent, cheerful, level-headed, spontaneous.

Your life motto?

If you don't have a goal in mind, you can't follow a path.
