Successful start to 2022

A strong season has begun!

Our athletes could now show first really strong performances in the last weeks. Our newcomer Joao Ferreira finished 5th at the Challenge Gran Canaria in a strongly occupied race, leaving behind co-favorites like Jonathan Brownlee.

One week later Lukasz Wojt could show his current form at the Infinit Half in Northern Spain. After a sovereign swim performance and also a good bike performance he could go first on the run course. At the half marathon he had to let a fast athlete pass to reach the finish line as 2nd. Satisfied with the start he is now training for the second race in Spain before returning home to work on the setup for the summer Ironman.

Same day; different location: Thomas Steger defends his title at Challenge Riccione. Despite the new course and the pressure of bib number 1, he could show a great race. Different as usual we wanted to lay out the race this time. Instead of relying on a super-fast run, this time we wanted to be up front on the bike and make an early break for the front. So it happened that Thomas already entered the second transition zone as part of the leading duo. The leading position, which he already held from the beginning of the half marathon due to a fast transition, was not in danger. So a solid controlled run was enough to bring home the victory.

We hope that the next races of our Pro's will be similarly successful.

 Stay safe, train well
